Description:

This course explores the major worldviews shaping the modern world, including Christianity, Islam, Marxism, Humanism, and Postmodernism. Each worldview will be analyzed through the lens of ten key academic and philosophical disciplines: theology, philosophy, history, economics, law, politics, biology, psychology, ethics, and sociology. By doing so, students will gain insight into the diverse and often contrasting meta-narratives that influence contemporary thought and culture.

Course Details:

This is a 2-semester course. Class begins Tuesday, September 9, 2025, and will officially end Friday, June 5, 2026.

Weekly classes will meet on Tuesday & Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM CST. Do note your time zone.

Holidays will be Thanksgiving week (Nov 24–28), Christmas & New Years Weeks (Dec 22–Jan 2), and Easter Week (Mar 30–Apr 3).
